O prédio da BNB está localizado na Esplanada dos Ministérios, entre o Setor Bancário Sul e a rodoviária do Plano Piloto. Integra o Conjunto Cultural da República, juntamente com o Museu da República. Entre seus espaços e salas, encontra-se no 2.° andar o auditório da Biblioteca Nacional. Com 95 lugares, foi equipado com recursos tecnológicos para a realização de teleconferências, videoconferências, seminários, palestras e apresentações com projeções de vídeos, filmes e acesso à internet. E, é claro, Poltronas Kastrup modelo Egeide.
